She and I have never been busier. Lately, one or both of us is either overwhelmed, hyper-focused, eating cookies, or asleep. I couldn’t find her in our house this morning because she was out front, watching the rain. She asked if I wanted to go get a coffee somewhere. I meant to answer with all the things I needed to do before 11, but instead I said “yeah.” Be sure to have someone in your life who gets excited when it rains because they have a pink raincoat. Especially if yours is gray.
