Running is one of my deepest passions. It gets me out of bed at 5am to put on my shoes in the dark and go outside before the world wake. (And I’m NOT a morning person)
.
Running pushes my limits every deep hard breath, big hill, chaffed arms or extra mile. And I pay for it with cut and bruised limbs, sore muscles, time away from my family, extra laundry and an exhausted body.
.
Yet I keep going because what I’ve learned is:
.
- running makes me stronger, mentally and physically.
.
- running gets me outside to see more of the world... places cars can’t go, places that surprise and delight me every day.
.
-running gives me times to talk with friends like @cdvandy90 and @sharmon85 and share life
.
- running is my sport and shows my kids that no matter how much we grow up, we can still go after things that bring us joy.
.
- running is where I clear my mind and God speaks to me. When I feel lost or confused, I run, I vent, I listen, I pray and I find my way again.
- running is a gift that I’ve been given and don’t take for granted.

So I run. And run. And run. What is your passion?
