So many people DM me about the movie Mr. Brooks that I’ve decided to dig into my vault and show you some never before seen pics with my friends and co-stars.
Working with @KevinCostnermodernwest #WilliamHurt & #DemiMoore was a dream come true.
The pic of my dad meeting Kevin is one of my favorites. My pops loved Field Of Dreams and baseball so meeting him was very cool for my dad.
The Elvis pic.. great story for another day behind that one but I love Elvis. Lots in common with that kid.
We shot in shreveport Louisiana for a month during huge spiders everywhere season.
This was also the first time I got a write up from the New York Times for my dramatic work and the were kind enough to give me a glowing review (I don’t get a lot of those so I have to tout this one).
I got the movie while filming Employee of the Month. I went into my trailer and taped an audition scene. Kevin called me a week later and says “you wanna get weird with me on this one.” Did I ever. Thx Cos for the great insight I learned things that I’m putting into my directing work today and always the acting knowledge works wonders.
