A little while back I was honored to be yet again invited to speak at @myfriendsplace ‘s annual gala as a champion alongside many friends such as @ashleemariepreston . We celebrated all the incredible work @myfriendsplace does for our homeless youth in need, but also were really real about how much work still needs to be done, and how much stigma has to change. Every year I donate and often donate to prizes donated that we bid on. This year, among other things, I bid and won tickets that @samsmithworld himself donated so kindly to the @myfriendsplace gala. Thank you @samsmithworld for the incredible show, I was a fan, but now I am a believer. Wow.
I always tell everyone I meet that giving back and being generous always pays back tenfold. And what an incredible reward this was. As Sam said all night. #loveislove so lets all spread as much love as we can. No matter who you are. Goodnight. Xo
