The best way to explore the Canadian Rockies is to get out into the mountain ranges to see them a bit closer. Head to Larch Valley to explore the mountains behind the famous Moraine Lake. The most popular time to hike this trail is in the fall when the larches turn a brilliant shade of gold that contrasts with the snow-capped mountains in the background.
