"Danica had heard I was living in Paris, and she called, very excited. For her, Paris represented art at its highest, and everything that was refined and elegant. It brought back wonderful memories of her years as a UNESCO delegate. I told her very proudly that I was having a show at the Pompidou, and it would be great if she could come to the opening. “Are you naked in it?” she asked.
