I am very sad to loose Burt Reynolds today. He was one of my film heros going to the movies in the 70’s! It was an honor to get to share the screen with him! He was charismatic and an amazing dinner party guest. No one was ever better on “The Tonight Show” with Johnny Carson. At one time Burt was the biggest box office star. I had dinner one night with Burt when I was working on the X-Files I asked if he would come do an episode. Chris Carter created a very specific role for him. It was such a joy to get to work with him again! Burt gave me a cool watch and sterling silver belt buckle with a large “R” on it! He was a bigger than life character for sure, and I pray light perpetual will shine upon him! Rest in Peace Burt Reynolds! I am grateful for the time I spent with you.
