Sharing this piece again because it makes me think of what is the interplay/interaction of the white keys and black keys, lights and shadows, brighter and darker tones. It's all about something in between. I think one of my favorite aspects of this piece is a polyrhythm. It makes me feel that the beauty is in the balance.

谷崎潤一郎の陰翳礼讃。私が学生時代夢中になっていた一冊ですが、私はこのショパンのエチュードを弾く度に谷崎潤一郎が陰翳礼讃の中で言っていた美学が分かるような気がするのです。そして白鍵と黒鍵、音色の明暗、光と影(闇)の相互作用について考えさせられるのです。それは、美がそのものにあるのではなく、2つの相反するものの間に存在するというのでしょうか。この曲がポリリズムであるという側面も、美が"間"に存在する感覚を強くするのかもしれません。今日は長文になってしまいましたが、兎にも角にも、この曲を気に入って頂ければとても嬉しいです?
