My grandmother passed away from Motor Neurone Disease 18 years ago, and while time heals, it also provides a sense of determination to support causes associated with things that have impacted me on a deep level. We came up with the idea for a badge to support the ALS Golden West chapter and its efforts to find out more about the degenerative disease and to fight it. @thelarkshead made the badge, and proceeds of the sale of the badge minus the cost of their manufacturing and shipping go towards the ALS foundation. I am told this works out to $15 for the badge, therefore $10 goes to the charity. This is not a pitch to buy the badge, just to show what is available.
