I remember when we first got in the studio together. Think this was 2011 back at my crib on Wonderland in LA. This was before my first album. I was still a pretty green producer figuring shit out. U were so chill. I was the opposite. way too over prepared and stressed to get in as much as possible for our session. But as I do I let the artist lead the session. And that day we chilled. We vibed. We talked about life, music, where we both came from, the good stuff. Good stories. Well, we became friends that day. No pressure no stress just fucking dope dope vibes and good memories. After that day I realized how important that kind of connection is when you’re working with another artist.
