RG: @sophia_roe for our Fall 2018 campaign - No Ordinary Life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "no ordinary life . . to write a list of people who inspire me honestly sounds sort of impossible, as my list is endless, and ever expansive. In my journal practice recently, my best friend @bwatuwant popped into my head. Out of curiosity I read through some of my old journals, letters, notes, etc—and I couldn’t help but notice a pattern. Britney shows up CONSTANTLY in my writing. . . She taught me everything I know about how to apply highlighter?, how much a manicure can change your life, and basically all there is to know about finding your “good angles.”??‍♀️However, most importantly..Britney reminds me every single day the power in laughter, joy, and authentic connection. She’s heard me cry my eyes out, and been witness to smiles of mine, that could light up the universe. . . I could go on and on about the impact this woman has on me, but you know what she does best? She SHOWS UP. She had shown up in full regalia in all my times of triumph and victory, but I swear in times of sorrow, and suffering—she doubles down! . . Britney, you have been a part of my “day-to-day” for years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sharing space, energy, and the world with you is an award I hardly feel I deserve. As you know, I don’t have much experience with people showing up for me, and for a long time it wasn’t something I think I’d ever receive. . . However, here I am today, and everyday to let you know—I love you, I see you, and I feel you. My gratitude knows no boundary or barrier.
