In all transparency, it’s been frustrating to see the park discipline of skateboarding becoming so prevalent while traditional vert events are few and far between. I get it; it’s more accessible and caters to many styles of skaters. But often times the winning run consists of 5-6 relatively basic vert (or miniramp) tricks with half the time spent carving to get to each one. However, after seeing a run like this by @oskarrozenberg at the Malmo #vansparkseries event, my gripes seem curmudgeonly. Nothing basic here; just raw talent and creativity.
