Well... we did it!!! Me and my beautiful mammy did it! 13.1 mile across our beautiful region for the #GNR!!! I managed to cross the finish line in about 2 hours and a half!!! I’m not going to lie, it was tough and at more than one point I felt like giving up- if it hadn’t been for my amazing chaperones David and Helen keeping me positive and keeping me going I doubt I would have finished it!! I feel very proud of myself and feel a strong sense of achievement.
I would recommend this incredible experience to anyone- ludicrously tough but makes you so incredibly proud to be from the north east.
