This week's #RoleModelMonday is 11 year old Kheris Rogers. Kheris was subjected to severe bullying for the complexion of her skin, and she decided to do something about it. Alongside her family, Kheris decided to combat racism and become a positive role model by creating a T-Shirt with the slogan, "Flexin' in my Complexion.' So far the sisters have sold over 10,000 T-Shirts! This year, she became the youngest designer to debut a collection at New York Fashion Week. She has dreams of opening up her own clothing store, as well as becoming a supermodel and entertainer! When asked for advice she would give to kids who are constantly bullied, she explains that, "it's not about what other people think about you, it's about what you think about yourself. You should say empowering words about yourself in the mirror, and do not let the words people say about you in the mirror get to you!" You are truly Flexin' girl!
