“The Oriental dwarf kingfisher is one of the most beautiful Kingfishers found in the Western Ghats region of India. These Kingfishers hunt for the appropriately sized food source based on the age of their chicks. When the chicks are very young, the parent birds will hunt for small lizards, cockroaches, spiders and other small insects.
