I do a slight shadow root after my lightening process rather than just leaving her natural because her blonde looks more brighter and the root is more seamless because I am able to manipulate the toner so that when her roots grow the shadow root that I just applied will fade out to the rest of her blonde & it’s more blended. It’ makes it ALOT easier for me to touch up in her future appointment . My client wanted to be overall brighter for her wedding day! She didn’t want a ton of highlights to achieve this look. She also wanted to keep it “natural” by having a slight shadow root so that it didn’t look to bleached blonde on her wedding day .
