Houston and surrounding area: the Harris County shelter is at crisis levels. @bestfriendsanimalsociety is about to open a shelter and they have staff there but they are desperately in need of people and/ or families to foster dogs or cats for a few weeks. They will provide you EVERYTHING you need.
