A Happy Birthday to Justine Frishmann, lead singer of Brit Pop legends Elastica. Songs like Line Up and Stutter stand out as anthems of their time. Their debut album Elastica was the fastest selling album between albums from Oasis and Arctic Monkeys. Before forming Elastica, Justine was a member of Suede, and was vital proponent of the career of MIA. The two were flat mates in London and it was Justine who pushed MIA into making music whilst she was studying at CSM. Justine is now a world renowned painter, exhibiting her work internationally.
