Happy holiday!
Today is Respect for the Aged Day in Japan. I can’t think of a better way than by remembering and thinking about all of my grandparents and great Aunts and Uncles. My great Aunt Ellen passed away two weeks ago, as well my great Uncle Bill (who was 105?!). They were lively and full of spirit until the end. They made us all laugh and showed us what and how life is meant to be lived. They were full of joy, like these bubbles. My grandmother is possibly the cutest grandmother to walk the Earth and can light up the room with her giggle. She has taught me so much about love, life, and how to knit. There is so much to learn from all of those who have come before us, so many, many lessons. Listen to what they have to say, write down their memories, their stories, because what they have to say and the lessons they bestow are magic. I love you Nandy, Aunt Ellen and Uncle Bill. These bubbles, this joy, all of it is for you. ❤️❤️❤️
