Honoured to have been included in the stunning Judith Clark, 'Fashion Inside and Out' show as part of the Homo Faber Exhibition currently on in Venice. Celebrating European artisanal craftsmanship it is exhibited in a vast abandoned swimming pool and displays incredible archive from designers such as @azzedinealaiaofficial @シャネル @スティーブンジョーンズ @Maison Margiela and @スキャパレリ. This piece is from our first ever SS12 collection when I was straight out of Saint Martins working in a room with no window and only enough space for one table, one chair and one manikin. It comprises of several weeks worth of hand smocked calico and the threads left over from the hand sewing. We later worked with @judithhopepuppetmaker and @liviahaueter to make miniature versions of our archive on marionettes for our Fashion in Motion show at the @vamuseum last year, of which this is one. Alongside this is a look from the SS18 collection which includes hand knotted net made from English rope. Thank you so much @cavalierofinn for the photos Xxx
