An absolute joy and dream meeting these stunning elephants at @glenafric and learning more about them and their struggles. Rescued and rehabbed, these elephants are still amazingly at risk to poachers and hunters. After spending time with these majestic beautiful souls I find it impossible to understand how anyone could harm them. They were so playful and happy roaming around,wrestling with each other as we observed. I’m not into violence or eye for an eye but when I hear of poachers dying in the wild, a wry smile crosses my face and if I stumbled across a hunter/poachers in trouble, I would happily turn my back and leave them to the circle of life. We must continue to protect these beautiful souls and end poaching,hunting,trophies,trading or we will be the last generation to see this wildlife we take for granted. Huge thanks to all the volunteers and staff that helped educate us today.
