Bare with me as I know the lyrics are a bit distasteful, but I think this song is empowering, in a satire sense, even down to the large overpowering “masculine” suits. I’m not sure if this was their intention or just MY positive interpretation hahaha.
Their choice of using Adele Givens feministic quote on female sexuality paired with the lyric “you’re such a fucking ho’. I love it” made me feel like it is a sort of anthem for female sexual freedom. Again, also satirical. As many men shame women for having an individual sexual appetite or a long or short history of partners. Here they are giving power in some what a positive way by saying “oh, they call you a ho’? Well I love it!” Basically saying, maybe even down to the intentionally large suits like, I’m so much of a “big man” my ego is not shot by your female sexuality. I don’t CARE that they see you as a ho’, cause I love it! Idk .. thoughts? Again, I guess it’s all about how YOU decide to take anything. Either way I love a conversation piece which I guess is ultimately the goal with art.. to make you feel something ??‍♀️?
