This Sunday night’s “What Mom Cooked on Sundays” dinner at @189bydominiqueansel celebrates our Executive Pastry Chef LeeAnn Tolentino and Pastry Sous Chef Melanie Patricio’s Filipino roots and the recipes that their moms and grandmoms taught them. From garlic fried rice to BBQ chicken skewers, to crispy lumpia (Chef Melanie’s mom’s recipe) with a sweet chili dipping sauce, and pickled green papaya salad on the side. And of course, slow-roasted lechon - a Filipino dinner party staple - with crispy skin and a soy garlic dipping sauce (with a kick of Serrano and calamansi).
