Good news and not so good news from the European Championships!
Yesterday with my mixed double partner Ovidiu Ionescu we lost the match for the medal against the German opponents Ruwen Filus and Han Ying. It was a difficult match, where our opponents were stronger. I am sad that we couldn’t get a new medal, but I am gathering my forces for the single and women double events. In the women double event, next to my partner Elizabeta Samara we are facing the German pair Nina Mittelham and Kristin Lang in quarterfinals. In the single event I managed to win yesterday in the first round against the European champion from 2013 Li Fen and I hope that I will play even better in the following matches. Today at 14:50 (local time, Alicante) I will face the French player Laura Gasnier and the match will be live on www.laola1tv.com.

Vești bune și vești mai puțin bune de la Campionatul European!
Ieri am pierdut în proba de dublu mixt alături de partenerul meu Ovidiu Ionescu, meciul pentru medalie împotriva adversarilor noștri Ruwen Filus și Han Ying din Germania. A fost un meci dificil în care adversarii noștri au fost mai buni. Sunt tristă că nu am reușit să obținem o nouă medalie, dar îmi adun toate forțele pentru probele care mi-au rămas. În proba de dublu, alături de colega mea Elizabeta Samara suntem în sferturile de finală și vom juca împotriva nemțoaicelor Nina Mittelham și Kristin Lang. În proba de simplu am reușit să o înving în primul tur pe campioana europeană din 2013- Li Fen și îmi doresc să joc tot mai bine în meciurile care urmează. Astăzi la ora 14:50 (ora locală, Alicante) voi înfrunta noua mea adversară Laura Gasnier și meciul va fi transmis în direct pe www.laola1tv.com.
