Why are so many people in Michigan and the Midwest stuck in the dark ages about the FACTS about declawing? ?
I’m pretty sure it’s because all the declawing vet$ don’t want people to know the awful truth about how they are mutilating and harming their beloved kitties. ?
I got a tip from a few supporters about a big shelter in Michigan that allows people to declaw the cats they adopt from this shelter. ??
So I respectfully reached out to this owner/operator of this shelter. I asked her many questions and one of them was why they don’t educate the public about declawing and how it is inhumane and mutilating.
She said that they don’t promote declawing (they advertised their declawing price on their website) and they don’t believe it’s inhumane and mutilating. ????
She said that if it is done properly and if the appropriate litter is used for two weeks, they don’t have problem with it.
I asked her who educates her about declawing.
She said her declawing vet does. ?
