In 1992 Carl Jones and TJ Walker were invited to be the design mentors for students at the OTIS College of Art and Design. Students  designed collections inspired by the Cross Colours brand, and presented them from sketch to finished garments in preparation for a fashion show, which included an award ceremony for the winning designers.
