MCM is a proud advocate for women and the fight against breast cancer. To mark breast cancer awareness month, MCM joined forces with Everlast to produce a special collaboration that features a symbolic pair of pink embossed-croc boxing gloves created by fashion architect, Misa Hylton. Inspired by her mother, a breast cancer survivor and designed through the lens of hip hop. The boxing gloves draw additional inspiration from the Japanese cherry blossoms, which are not only part of Misa’s heritage but also represent renewal, combined with MCM’s legendary Viseto’s pattern amount to a completely unique one of a kind creation. To finish off this special design, the pink ribbon, the international symbol for breast cancer is woven into the laces with the pink MCM Viseto’s teddy bear hanging from the gloves and the use of opulent pearl detail, give these gloves the final beautiful, bold statement—Beating Breast Cancer.
