360 Waves are no joke - check out Artistic Team member @keonthebarber's exclusive tip on how he trains his hair to achieve his signature style ?

1. A great product to use is a foam mousse, here I am starting with control foam in the tech series line from @AmericanCrew. Take a few pumps and distribute throughout the hair. Comb it through, then brush it through. (It’s always best to follow the growth pattern with every step). You will also see many people use wave pomades, creams, and greases, but you have to find what you feel gives you the best results.

2. I then follow up with The Super Skinny Shine from @PaulMitchellus as you will want to have a good oil for the hair - the more course the hair, the dryer it is. Also, it gives a great shine, helps keep the hair soft, and smells phenomenal. Just a couple pumps and then apply it following the growth pattern, then brush it through.

3. Same as with any other style you will want to set it. To do that I’m using the new @AwapuhiWildGinger anti-humidity hair spray to fight the frizz and lock in my pattern. I follow up with brushing again. Last, but not least, I use a Durag (or wave cap) for compression, it’s essential to keep the hair in the same place so it can lock into that style. .
? Why do I brush it so much? Because brushing the hair teases it into place, the more you brush it the more the curl stretches and contracts each time getting curlier creating that wave pattern you see.
