3 of my favorite things during expedition w @intotheokavango . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
1. Sunsets in the Okavango Delta make you feel like you’ve never seen one before. The intensity of the sun, the sounds that come with it as the bush winds down and gets ready for nighttime ✨

2. Throughout expedition I got to help @christurtleboyes & @adjanycosta to identify the aquatic plants of the Delta. Photographing samples, recording data and identifying different species.
Throughout the many expeditions that @intotheokavango has done, from the highlands of Angola to the Delta in Botswana, invaluable data had been recorded: over 24 new species to science, 46 new species for Angola... Hundreds of species not yet known to the world are believed to exist in the remote, isolated forests, lakes and rivers up north.

3. This is what my shower looks like: 2 water filled blue buckets carried from the Delta channel. A beautiful reminder of what little we truly need, the importance of water conservation, keeping our water sources pristine and the beauty of being back to basics in a slow paced life.
