Last week we lost a very kind and giving soul, John Bernard Martin. This has been a very sad time for everyone who knew him. Bernie Martin was a close colleague and friend who worked on my films for over 10 years. I loved Bernie’s company, I loved his sense of humor, and his loyalty meant the world to me — whenever we needed him, no matter what, he was there. I miss him so much.
