It’s not an exaggeration to say that Meghan Markle’s custom @ジバンシィ wedding dress was the dress seen around the world, since according to a BBC estimate, the royal wedding reached 1.9 billion people globally. Designed by @clarewaightkeller, British designer and first female artistic director of Givenchy, the process took five months, in secret, working with Markle. Keller recalled the moment she learned of this special commission, as well as the process behind it, to @エヴァ・チェン today at Vogue’s #ForcesofFashion conference. “It was a very discreet communication between us. Literally just us. There was no one else involved,” Keller said of the time she spent working with Markle on the gown. “For those five months, that was so special.
