In 1992 I hitchhiked through the Hazarajat region in central #Afghanistan. I always wanted to see the colossal Buddhas of #Bamiyan. On our way back to Kabul we were stopped at gunpoint by bandits. They took our money and some of our things, miraculously we convinced them to let me keep my camera equipment.
