do you ever miss it or wish you could go back and do it over again?

thank you for your comments on my last post. I was a little surprised that almost everyone said that they had been following me since then! knowing that 2010 was 8 years ago, so much has changed, but it’s overwhelming to think that so many of you have stuck around and continue to support me over all that time. I don’t know if I express my gratitude enough.

I had a period when I was maybe 17, where I was worried my life had already peaked. most people think that being ‘famous’, on TV & doing shows is the most incredible thing that could happen to someone ever. It kind of is. .
.
So what do you do when that happened to you at age 13? When ‘I am famous’ becomes ‘I *was* famous’?

(I am saying fame very lightly here, I don’t want to inflate things to bigger than it was etc!!)

I am happy now, I am doing different things. I get more scared now doing a talk in front of 30 people than performing on stage in front of thousands like I once did. I’m pacing myself. I like not having lots of mean comments any more. I like being more authentic. I like not caring as much. .
.
The biggest change was taking pressure off myself. Now, I think I’m able to look forward to the future, not because it holds ever peaking stardom, but because I’m focusing on making every day a good day. I just want to be good at the things I am doing now. Everything else is a bonus.
