It had been a hot minute since I’d been to a concert and last night seeing The Steven Page Trio was a perfect reminder of what I’ve been missing.

Seeing BNL back in the day was such a seminal concert for me because it wasn’t just rocking out a stadium, it felt really intimate and FUN!

Last night was even more than that, these guys made it feel like you were getting to sit and have a drink with them in their studio while they did what they love to do the most. Play music.

The hits, the new songs, the Frightened Rabbits homage in the middle of a tune, a 20 minute tangent of various music references...just get thee to a SHOW
