Styling a @modcloth outfit today that reminded me of one of my earliest looks I styled on my blog. ? I had just been hired at my first desk job for an ecommerce website, and I was so nervous and excited. I chose a vintage plaid skirt and a sweater to wear on my first day of work. And while that job was a bit of a disaster, it ended up being the catalyst to so many amazing things in my life. It prompted me to make the move to LA, to find an apartment with my then boyfriend (now husband!), and to eventually start pursuing blogging as a full-time job (when I realized that job wasn't going to support me). I may have changed a lot from that nervous girl driving to her first day on the job, but in a lot of ways I still see the similarities.
