How many things in your life have you wished for? How many wishes came true?
.
All of my life I wanted to travel. All of my life I wanted to be an actor. None of that seemed like it could ever be a reality for me. I grew up in a small town in Missouri and spent most of my time writing stories about traveling the world and putting on plays in my backyard. But I was always told that that was for other people, that I had to pick something else to do when I grew up.
.
Somewhere, deep down inside of me I couldn’t live with that. I couldn’t live LIKE that. It couldn’t be true.
.
I got a job working for an airline and it was the first time I traveled internationally. Then I move to California and pursued acting. None of this was easy. All of it was scary. Frankly, it still is.
.
But if you want something bad enough, believe in it, and work every day to make it happen, it WILL happen.
.
Just like how I wanted to go the the Land of Oz. It only took four years, but here I am, sitting in a poppy field and I haven’t even fallen asleep! Lol
.
