Woke up at 3 AM to break down camp and get an early start on the last leg of the Trans Catalina Trail. Hiking up in the dark was meditative and peaceful. Eventually the clouds broke and the full moon came out. It illuminated my path so well that I no longer needed my head lamp. I felt like I was walking on a tightrope between clouds. A few hours later the sun began to rise and lit the sky on fire. It was gorgeous. Finally arriving at Parsons Landing was a good feeling. I highly recommend the #transcatalinatrail for anyone in the area. More photos to follow.
