Post 2/3: The exoskeleton took 10 months to design. I built it myself, with help from the university dean and my mother, who knows a lot about medical software. Of course it was difficult. But if you believe in yourself and your project then you will succeed. UniExo is a revolutionary technology. I’ve received several awards, including from Microsoft, Silicon Valley Robotics and Robohub Reader’s Pick. In 2015, I accepted the European Youth Award. I’ve also been involved in several start-ups in Silicon Valley, which have helped me to secure additional funding and improve the device. I work a lot with children and youth from all over the world to teach them how tech can improve our lives. This week I will be participating in the Youth4Health Hackathon, organized by UNICEF in Astana.
