@organigrowhairco For those of u don’t know my natural hair journey story. 2009-2010 I had THE WORST heat damage, to the point my hair looked like it was straight or wavy even when it was “curly”. I decided to go to a popular curly salon to get one of their curly cuts. They ended up cutting the middle of my head to “remove the bulk” and they chopped off all of my hair which left me with thin super short still heat damaged hair. I was also using their products not realizing it had wheat proteins in it that are no bueno for my low porosity hair. I was fed up so 2014 I wore a weave. I was on tour so for me this was the best option. Biggest mistake. 2015 after taking my weave down (top right photo) my hair was the shortest and most damaged it had ever been. I stopped wearing weaves and decided to wear clip ins. Also a huge mistake lol. I wasn’t seeing any progress, frustrated with spending thousands on products. I created @OrganiGrowHairCo and only wore my hair in buns, cornrows and French braids. Finally in the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017 my hair was the healthiest and curliest I had ever seen it in my life. Now it’s 23 inches long when stretched, full and the way I’ve always dreamed of having it! I use only @OrganiGrowHairCo products, I don’t have to switch my products monthly like I used to have to.
