Set realistic goals that you can achieve on a short-term basis which will ultimately lead to your long term goals. Start with objectives that you can reach on a realistic daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. Stay mindful where you're at currently and where you want to go. Use the tools you read and hear about to build your physique as you want to present it. That is the desired end result. The rest is just a process. Whether you can squat 500 pounds or do lunges with 135 pounds, it’s the stimulation you have to adapt to and feel from each and every rep. All the other information processing through your mind is just feeding an ego, which can oftentimes can get us into more trouble than it’s worth. Surround yourself with those who encourage and push you into the path of your goals. Don’t rush your journey, it will come. Pursue your passion in life, whether that's in the gym or not, stay optimistic.
