The end of the world cup season and I could not have finished it in a better way!
.
I’m just starting to realize what I’ve been able to pull off in the last one.
Leading the competition through all the rounds, finally winning again after more than 2 years and catapulting myself from 4th place to join @romaindesgranges on 3rd place of the overall world cup ranking in the last moment. .
It’s my 5th world cup win but you won’t believe that after so much time it feels like I’ve won for the first time.

Almost all my energy this year was focused in Innsbruck and after I didn’t reach what I wished for I admit I lost all my fire. My only motivation that remained was to be on the podium for the overall but with my good for nothing stomach issues and terrible climbing in Wujiang I was sure that I lost that too. By nothing to lose I enjoyed the last competition in Xiamen like a training. I just let things go and it all fell on the right place at the right time and the feeling was magical. Moments like this I’ll never forget!
