“Burt was a member of the Reform Club, a fine dining and residential private club on London’s Pall Mall. Staying at the club was like being in a time machine. One shared a bathroom with a Lord or retired to the library to read the international newspapers brought to you by the butler. In this image three gentlemen wait for a bus in the rain on Hyde Park Corner. When in a gentlemen’s London, Burt was able to take off his dirty, working raincoat and photo vest and transform into a fop for a fortnight.” - Elena Glinn
