JAPONISMES 2018 – JARDIN D’ACCLIMATATION
This year, Japan and France jointly organize an extensive cultural season to showcase the unrevealed beauty of Japanese culture in Paris. On this occasion, a Furoshiki is settled in the @jardindacclimation, installed in coordination with the Japan Foundation. Said to be the world’s first eco-bag, a furoshiki is a piece of cloth adorned with colors and various patterns, which for over 1,300 years has served as the traditional manner to wrap objects of various sizes.
The furoshiki has been designed by Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, Artistic Designers of the Maison @ケンゾー.
The Furoshiki will be in place from October 20 to November 6 in the park facing the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
