We finally saw in real life what we had been looking at on the satellite images: fjords full of sea ice that we certainly could not sail into. As we flew, we could see that parts of the land were indeed thawing, creating milky-blue rivers and revealing the meadows underneath. #EAGRE18 @greenland_caves
