Busy Philipps is in the middle of the busiest — and most successful — stretch of her career so far. She has a new, candid memoir, “This Will Only Hurt a Little,” and a talk show, “Busy Tonight” now on E! Busy, 39, is a case study for her own “sparkly human” theory — something she invented a few years ago. It refers to someone who isn’t necessarily the most famous, but radiates self-confidence in a way that the world opens up to them. Through her early adoption of Instagram Stories and easy willingness to share public and private moments, she has opened up to the world, too.
