Today we introduce Eli Durst @durzt who is one of the artists on display - Bio: Eli Durst, born and raised in Austin, Texas, studied American literature and history at Wesleyan University before receiving his MFA from the Yale School of Art is 2016. His work blends the languages of conceptual and documentary photography, creating ambiguous narratives that blur the lines between reality and fiction. In 2016, Eli received the Aperture Portfolio Prize for his series In Asmara, which examines the post-colonial legacy of Eritrea’s capitol city. Eli is also the recipient of a 2017 Aaron Siskind Individual Photographer’s Fellowship Grant. He splits his time between New York and Austin, where he teaches photography at the University of Texas. #EliDurst
