My mom sent me this photo of my grandpa today. Paris, 1945. It makes me wish I had known him better. I’m sure he had some wild stories to tell. I never got the feeling he approved of me being an actor and we didn’t see eye to eye on a lot of things, but I’m here because of him. I got to visit the same place 70 years later because he fought to preserve it. Thanks for your service, grandpa. And thank you to everyone who served to protect our freedoms. #veteransday
