A few stolen moments to myself - they have becomes precious. I knew that everything would change and I thought I knew what that change would look like. so I readied myself for it, mentally turned it over in my mind. And in most ways, the change has been exactly as I expected - but that doesn’t make it any less uncomfortable. The doing of things in a certain way, expecting certain results, defining productivity over and over for more than a decade is my familiar ground and a hard pattern to break, to left go of - but nothing is permanent and though I have not physically practiced on my yoga mat in a while (I wince even thinking of that) I am employing my practice every day, learning to sit with the discomfort of this moment, knowing that this part of the journey, this moment of transition will lead somewhere just was wonderful and practicing gratitude for the promise of possibly .
