’Tis the season to try new seasonings! With holiday meals upon us, I think we should spice things up by cooking something unique with flavors from around the globe. I’m so happy to partner with @McCormickSpice on showcasing a collection of their Gourmet Organic seasoning blends that celebrate different cultures & the yummy flavors they bring - Harissa, Berbere, Peruvian, Shawarma & Za’atar. In this animation I’m celebrating Harissa, a spice that originated in North Africa (and is seriously delicious!). Inspired by two recipes on McCormick.com, I’ve cooked up my tiny version of their Sticky Honey Harissa Ribs & Shaved Carrot Salad with Pomegranate Harissa dressing. A lot of love went into this piece…and truthfully I enjoyed eating a lot of Harissa while making it!
