Since announcing my retirement at the end of this ski season, it’s been meaningful to look back and remember some of my favorite races in my career. On this day in 2008, I came from bib 18 to win the first slalom race of my career and I shared the podium with my good friend @mariahoeflriesch. I started off as a slalom skier in Minnesota but downhill was always my most successful event...that race meant so much to me. ❤️ #minnesotaroots #buckhill
